Very limited menu interface. I cannot find a way to play bluray films which id frankly the reason I purchased this. I cannot imagine why it’s so expensive.

no sound import for multiple languages, no subtitle import. Quality setting to basic. This version is for amateurs only. Pro or semi-pro pass your way.

No flexibility in menu creation, Limited choice in options. If not REALLY updated, avoid it.

I tried this software to create a blu ray for my client, however when I saved my workspace on my mac and I closed this software, it was impossible for me to reopen this my project after a reboot of my mac or a end of software, moreover there are no enough features like a nero or other best tools. When, I tried to burn on my external blu ray reader my project, and after have chosen BD-25 option at the bottom of software and I click on burn button. So Blu ray creator did not arrive to burn on my Blu-ray 25 disc. I lost 8 Blu ray discs for no result. I think that the soft must be free or be removed from app store because, there are no result for the paid product.

The Blu-Ray Creator for Mac is a great App who create Blu-Ray disc with exellent HD resolution close to the camera master , but nothing can be perfect with new softwares. Today i have done a test fron an XDCAM EX Master 1920 X 1080i (at 60i) and unless i dont know to use this software correctly the Blu-Ray came as 24P and this is pretty bad. Pretty Bad because this introduce a motion jitter where the scenes have a panning even at very modest speed and not present on the camera master so it is from Blu-Ray Creator. Also here i dont want to waste my time but this software create the following folder : com.leawo.bluraycreator in Pictures Home Folder and the Movies Home Folder Boot-Drive. It is not possible to Select the hard-drive or give the name or change the name of this folder or location, not acceptable and on the Boot-Drive (OS X Drive) even worse for me.

This app need to be improved. No way to change the text features of the title and buttons (fonts, color, size, etc.) No wat to add buttons to play other videos. The menu templates are terrible! please a better layout, and more customisable. About the preview thumbs, it would be nice to chance to choose a portion of the video to be player in loop. So far this release it’s a waste of money, I hope it will improve. Thank you.

No redundant operating steps while burning a disc. Very clean interface and clear bottoms helps do things specifically and easily. Saving more time by some perfect auto settings like auto output format, output folder, and etc.

This is something that was DESPERATELY needed for Macs as there is virtually nothing out there outside of Roxio Toast and Compressor for blu-ray authoring and encoding.Im really impressed with the media compatibility and encoding speed of this product, also the easy to use menu design functions (which nicely includes adding your own images, video and music for menu backgrounds).

Very powerful, i mean really powerful. Store my hd movies in the top of the case, this is the one i need. Using the least time and grant the highest quality, just do what it says. I like it.

Great software. It supports a lot of video formats + media devices. Really fast and very easy to use. I used many others, but this one is the best. I really love using this program.

Making an BD-RE disk for .m2ts format movies from my Sony Handycam works fine. This is the first program with which I can generate BluRay Discs without error messages...

The best thing about this app is that its easy to use and it has all the features I wanted. This was the first Blu-Ray Creator that I bought and I have no need to try another one.. Good job guys!

The software is okay, however, my primary issue with Compressor and Toast are the inability to manage and customize chapters. This software is even worse, it does not auto import chapters from FCP or allow the manaual creation of chapters. Im very disappointed. Otherwise it appears to be fairly decent for the money.

this app worked like a charm for the first week and now everytime i try to open it its crashing

Summary of my experiences: Had 25 .mp4 clip files. Dragged as a group onto “drop here” area, they go in the list in reverse order! The interface has a means of moving a clip up or down but it is very tedious, so deleted them and dragged them in one at a time. (Strike one) The capacity gauge showed 22GB, no problem, so clicked Burn button. After the 2 hour 30 minute “conversion” process it was ready to “burn disc” but then said, sorry, the disc is too small, data is a couple hundred MB over capacity! (Strike Two) (My guess? The “capacity” gauge does not allow for the menu and other overhead files — stupid!) Anyway had to click Cancel and delete one of the clips. Click Burn again and find it has discarded all the “conversion” work it did before, so now must do it all over, two more hours of redundant “conversion” — stupid! (Strike 3). But it finally got to “Burn disc” step and it started writing disc, hurrah! Left the room for half an hour and came back to find a message “Unable to burn disc”. No further explanation, just — failed. No choice but to click Cancel and — what? try the whole three-hour process again? Strike four and this app is deleted — and I have wasted $25 on it. Don’t you make that mistake.

I finally found an alternative to iDVD. This is well worth the investment. I have been using Toast and still would be if they would let me play movies in the menu. Blu-ray Creator does and not too difficult to use.

Opened. No buttons. Can’t add any files. just wasted 25.

The software version in the AppStore is 1.1.0. The latest version currently on Leawo’s website is 7.3.3, and the AppStore version has no manual option for updating!
